CoatRight™ EC System
Epoxy-resin-based CoatRight™ EC is the most cost-effective system in Concare’s CoatRight™ line. It can also be more thickly layered and in fewer applications. CoatRight™ EC is available in clear or colored applications, with the option of quartz for added strength and durability. Most of the CoatRight™ EC products are zero VOC, too.

CoatRight™ EC Color Options
- CoatRight™ EC-C: CoatRight™ EC-C (clear) hides scratches and wear and preserves your concrete’s natural color. EC-C does not conceal repairs.
- CoatRight™ EC-P: CoatRight™ EC-P (pigmented) hides stains already in concrete and conceals repairs and variations in the concrete’s color. Available in a range of colors.

CoatRight™ EC System Additions
Choose from the following CoatRight™ EC system additions to improve your floor’s performance:
Anti-Microbial
Floors that defend against bacteria and microbial contamination are essential in food, pharmaceutical and healthcare facilities. Concare’s anti-microbial formulas resist germs, pathogens and other microorganisms, keeping your facility and your product safe.
Concare’s anti-microbial properties are integral to the material, so as the floor wears the biostat remains active. Both chemical and inert silver ion versions are available.
Chemical Resistance/Secondary Containment
When hazardous materials are a threat, effective chemical resistance is critical for safety compliance. Concare provides concrete’s best protection against caustic and dangerous substances with strong chemical barriers. Consult MSDS to identify your facility’s most aggressive substances, and determine the longest time they might sit on the surface. That way, Concare can best assist you in choosing the right chemical-resistant formula for the job.
ColorFlake (CF)
ColorFlake adds “chips” of evenly-scattered color to a floor’s surface for a decorative finish. Get a custom blend to suit your style by adding glitter, mixing small and large flakes, or varying the concentration. You’re only limited by your imagination! ColorQuartz (CQ)
ColorQuartz (CQ) is multi-colored aggregate that provides additional strength and traction, and is available in a variety of tweed color choices to suit your design style. Since it is “seeded” into wet resin, ColorQuartz provides a textured, enhanced traction finish while adding a decorative look to the finished floor. Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) resistance
If your facility produces or uses sensitive electronic equipment, you know the dangers static electricity or sparks can pose. An ESD, spark-proof or conductive-floor system preserves your product’s integrity, prevents electrical damage, guards against fires, and most importantly, gives you peace of mind.
Enhanced Traction
Prevent slip-and-fall accidents in wet areas and save time and money by adding the right texture to your flooring system. Choose from polypropylene, quartz, aluminum oxide or even granite to customize the texture of your choice. Textures range from light to very aggressive.
Floor Markings
Whether you require striping for safety, product locators for inventory, location marks for your 5S program or even a company logo, Concare can provide it with a variety of specialty floor markings.
Quartz (Q)
Incorporate Quartz (Q) aggregate into a coating to provide added strength and texture. Harder than silica sand, Quartz can add significant life in a heavy traffic application. Thickness and durability double when you add Quartz -- but the cost won’t.
Waterproofing
Protect people, processes and equipment with a Waterproofing Membrane. A long-lasting Waterproofing Membrane is ideal for wet areas where seepage is an issue. Concare’s Waterproofing Membranes also prevent leaks from pump rooms, washrooms, kitchens and parking garages.
